Artist bio

An Ohio born and raised artist / producer Darwin has crafted his own unique sound which he refers to as "evolution music" that is heavily influenced by the rock, alternative, and hip-hop genres. During his collegiate years at Ohio University, Darwin was heavily involved in the local music scene where he was a part of several local bands such as as WARP and also had the opportunity to work with Brick City Records where he released his first studio album U & I in Suicide. Throughout his years in college, all the music experience he gained allowed him to develop the foundation for his sound, branding, performance, and gave him an overall understanding of the music business. Now as a Columbus resident, Darwin is working towards his goal of being a full time independent artist that gives back to the community while putting Columbus on the map as a music city. To date, Darwin has toured twice throughout the midwest, independently released tracks such as "Rotate" and "Tears of Gold," opened for national touring acts like Phix, and has received press coverage from outlets such as Ohio Voyage and Canvas Rebel. He knows there is a lot of work to still be done but he is just enjoying the ride every step of the way through the ups and downs. Follow Darwin and witness the evolution for yourself!
